About Us The department of Occupational & Environmental Health, Shuang-Ho Hospital was established to provide health and environmental services for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of occupational and work-related environmental exposure, illness and injury.
Medicine Treatments & Services Occupational diseases are illnesses that have been mainly caused by a physical, chemical or biological factor at work. We provide occupational workplace surveillance, screen of the environment, assessment for high risk occupations to prevent the work-related illnesses and injuries such as occupational asthma, hazardous chemical exposure, dermatitis, musculoskeletal disorders, and work-related hearing impairment. We also provide educational services about workplace hazards and safety and offer worksite visits as permitted.
Mission Our mission is to address occupational and environmental health issues through advanced research, teaching, training opportunities and services to residents in New Taipei City.
