About Us The services provided in the area of Gastroenterology and Hepatology are extensive. It includes gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas and biliary system and teams up with endocrinology, immunology and nutrition. The Shuang-Ho hospital has served the community for ten years; we encourage staffs to improve their knowledge and skills in order to provide a better service. Many of top 10 cancer leading cause of death in Taiwan are related to the field of gastroenterology and hepatology, e.g. colorectal cancer, hepatocellular cancer, pancreatic cancer, esophageal cancer and gastric cancer. In the past nine years, colorectal cancer places first in the country. We continue providing traditional service in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology, e.g. peptic ulcer bleeding, pancreatitis, hepatitis, biliary tree stone extraction and so on. Furthermore, we also provide prevention therapy for cancer, e.g. hepatitis therapy, early cancer detection and therapy (EMR, ESD). We believe that we can give patients a better life.
