About Us

A. Our teams:

Since 2008, we have been devoting to provide the best health service to the widespread patient with heart disease. Now, the members of Department of Cardiovascular include one Chief doctor of Taipei Medical University certified professor, 14 full-time doctors (physicians), one technical team leader, four radiologists, ten examiners, one researcher (post-doctoral investigator) and two case managers. The Department of Cardiovascular Surgery includes two full-time doctors, two nurses, two technicians for Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenator.

B. Our services:

After 10 years of developing, we got a huge breakthrough in every clinical field of cardiology. Now we provide detail and complete diagnosis and treatment for cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease, primary or secondary hypertension, congestive heart failure, cardiac arrhythmia, hyperlipidemia, congenital heart disease, Fabry disease, peripheral arterial occlusive disease and valvular heart disease. We have two cardiac catheterization laboratories, qualified cardiac catheterization teams, and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenator teams, providing 24-7 service of emergent management of acute myocardial infarction.

C. Examination tools:

1. Digitalized electrocardiography (ECG): provide resting 12-lead ECG.

2. Holter: for the diagnosis of arrhythmia, ischemia and autonomic nervous function

3. Event Recorder: for arrhythmia detection

4. Ambulatory BP monitor (ABPM): records BP continuously; diagnosis of hypertension,

white coat hypertension; analyzing BP change during daytime and esp. nighttime and evaluating treatment efficacy of the anti-hypertensive medication.

5. Treadmill exercise electrocardiography: Diagnosis of myocardial ischemia during exercise, coronary artery disease, arrhythmia related to exercise and exercise capacity

6. Echocardiography with color duplex: Analyzing cardiac chamber size, wall thickness, and heart systolic/diastolic function; differential diagnosis of valvular heart disease,

pericardial disease, cardiomyopathy and congenital heart disease.

7. Bi-plane cardiac catheterization laboratory: Two newest bi-plane high-resolution cardiac catheterization laboratories provide easy anatomic analysis of coronary arteries during the coronary angiogram and percutaneous coronary intervention, and perform

  pacemaker implantation.

8. Electrophysiological Study: A minimally invasive procedure that tests the electrical conduction system of the heart to assess the electrical activity and conduction pathways of the heart.

9. Vascular screening system: analyze the degree of atherosclerosis and arteriosclerosis as part of screening tool; diagnosis the degree of peripheral arterial occlusive disease.
