When you are meeting a new doctor and have scheduled your first appointment, you may wonder what you need to do to prepare. What information do you need? What questions should you ask? At Shuang Ho Hospital, we want you to have simple, convenient experiences at all your appointments. Review the information below to learn more about how to have a productive appointment.

Step 1: Email us

To make an appointment, please contact us at

ims@s.tmu.edu.tw and send the items mentioned below

• A photocopy of your passport
• Personal health information (current diagnosis)
• Films (X-ray, MRI, CT scan, ultrasound) or biopsy results
• Name of the department you would like to visit
• A list of questions you have for your doctor
• Your contact information (mailing address, email address, phone numbers)

Step 2: Receive your appointment confirmation

We will confirm your appointment shortly after we receive your information and complete new patient registration. We will also let you know all information you need to know before traveling.

Step 3: Make your travel arrangements

Once your appointment at Shuang Ho Hospital has been confirmed, we will assist you with any transportation and accommodation needs.
